Hey there, I’m Violetta

Originally Swiss and now travelling the world. I had a regular life (9 to 5 job, amazing friends and a cozy apartment) before I turned it upside down and went straight out of my comfort zone. Since my teenage years I had the idea to travel the world. And since I entered work life (quite early) I realized that it would be perfect to travel with a van. When I was 18 years old, I had my first full solo travel experience to Canada. And I did not like it much, so after that I always went travelling with friends. But if you want to travel the world, you need a heck of a good friend who has the same wish (time & probably money), so I decided to go on my own adventure. And until now I don’t regret it.

I always thought of a Volkswagen Van (you know, those cute retro ones) but after some years I knew that I want more comfort if this is going to be my home for a while. After trying out different vans, I found Tuca in 2019. Tuca is a Fiat Ducato and had a previous life as a motocross shipping vehicle. In 2+ years we (my father and I) turned it into a cozy home and although that I had to go to many doctors appointment with her, she is mostly reliable.
